LEONARD PARIS FALL/WINTER 2025
“There’s something good in being nomadic. We must go through our times as we go through our cities: seeking out beauty whenever it is likely to present itself to us. For beauty is one of the most comforting expressions of our humanity” – GEORG LUX Creative Director.
In an arid desert, beauty can suddenly appear in the form of an age-old garden populated by lush species, or a futuristic oasis of dizzying buildings. In a bustling city, it may take the form of a bewitching personality encountered on a nocturnal stroll, or a mysterious place to which a few amber lights irrepressibly draw us. These lights could be those of director Wong Kar-Wai’s «In the Mood for Love», whose warm, sensual moods inspired the colors of this Leonard Paris FW25 / Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The heroine of this collection was imagined as situated at the heart of these fascinating settings, at the crossroads of these Asian inspirations: a modern-day nomad, romantic but determined, wrapped in her luxurious laminated jersey trench coat, eager to seize the day, crossing deserts and cities in search of that comforting beauty.
Description of Leonard Paris Fall/Winter 2025 :
SILHOUETTES Wraparound or protective, trench coats and pea coats with accentuated shoulders are worn urban-style over more fluid, romantic pieces. The entire collection is characterized by a play on mini and maxi volumes.
MATERIALS Laminated jersey imitating pleated leather, plain black or rose-printed, glossy patent. A warm, ultra-luxurious wool-silk twill. A flamboyant kaleidoscopic silk twill. An enveloping half-floral, half-animal quilt.
DETAILS Semiprecious stone buttons inspired by Berber jewelry. Large abstract rhinestone flowers embroidered on a burgundy pea coat. A bed of translucent sequin roses embroidered on a forest-green denim midi-length skirt.
COLORS Warm shades of gold and dark chocolate, lichen, pistachio and forest greens, touches of burgundy, mahogany and ivory.
PRINTS The rose, queen of flowers, mystical and ancestral, is the flower of the season. A new abstract flower, gold on a black background, drawn like pointillist lines, evokes the night lights of a metropolis as seen from the sky. A third flower, drawn ikat-style on a tangy pistachio-green background, adds a touch of spring. A kaleidoscopic design reflects the infinite brilliance of a diamond, like a neo-art-deco fantasy. Finally, a cheetah from the archives completes the ensemble.
ACCESSORIES Looks are worn with «neo-rider» high boots in suede and smooth leather, or matching mullets. They are accessorized with chic hobo bags or softer bucket bags with Leonard Paris buckles, designed for today’s nomad.
