Envisioned as a celebration, Alexis Mabille Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2024-2025 collection radiates with the brilliance of its fabrics. The fluidity of crepe, the sensuality of jersey, the structure of satin, the shimmer of lamé, the vibrancy of the palette, the whisper of velvet, and the sparkle of sequins. it’s all about radiance! A collection made for a woman who is playful, delicate yet fatal, dazzling and effervescent — like a bubble of champagne. In this collection, traditional shirting is reimagined as elegant evening wear, with collars transforming into bodice and shoulder embellishments. A standout piece is the bustier dress adorned with graphic lacing details. Echoes of the Lido’s storied past appear in a feathered headdress paired with a cat-eye mask and a leopard-print sequined dress adorned with pheasant feathers.

A striking example of Mabille’s ingenuity is a long sheath dress in white crepe featuring an asymmetrical collared bustier and sleeve. Another highlight is a flowing silver brocade dress with an asymmetrical neckline and split sleeve, exuding timeless glamour. The collection also includes a long cardigan in silver sequins, trimmed with ivory crepe and embellished with jewel buttons, showcasing Mabille’s flair for blending playfulness with luxury. A long sheath dress with bat sleeves in changing sand taffeta, complemented by a satin musketeer collar and cuffs with zirconium heart buttons, further underscores Mabille’s attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship.

The show concluded with an unexpected grand finale. As the lights dimmed, the stage floor opened to reveal Dita Von Teese, playfully perched in a giant champagne glass. The renowned burlesque performer captivated the audience with a playful striptease, her movements sending splashes toward the front row. Mabille’s Fall/Winter collection was a captivating blend of champagne bubbles, Old Hollywood glamour, and a nod to Lido’s rich history, leaving a lasting and effervescent impression.
