AIGNER FASHION SHOW ARTS AND CRAFTS
We were pleasantly surprised by the AIGNER Spring/Summer 2024 collection. We went to the show with an open mind, hoping to be amazed, and we certainly were. This collection took inspiration from the artsy style of the late nineteenth-century Arts and Crafts movement. It includes eye-catching items like shiny mini dresses, tulle leotards with a unique pattern, and big leather coats, jackets, and skirts. There are also crop tops, regular tops, skirts, and dresses made from a see-through silk called Hypertube. It has silicone flowers that make a cool 3D effect.
One special thing at the show was the CYBILL Bag Honeysuckle. It’s a special version of the CYBILL Bag Stretch that’s known and protected worldwide as a true icon. No other bag is quite like it. The Creative Director of AIGNER, Christian Alexander Beck, showed off a collection with modern and bold outfits. There were outfits with big and artsy shapes, along with more flowy ones. The accessories include necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, ear and lip cuffs, piercings, brooches, and logo-inspired jewelry in gold and silver. These pieces are adorned with crystals and semi-precious stones like lapis lazuli, onyx, and tiger’s eye, mirroring the colors featured in the collection.
AIGNER places renewed focus on simplicity and utility, showing off the natural beauty of the materials and models they use. This reflects a profound awareness of fashion and design’s impact on contemporary society and its future evolution. Based on what we saw and witnessed, it’s evident that Aigner‘s future looks promising!
