ERIKA CAVALLINI FALL/WINTER 2026 COLLECTIONS
The song of the sirens is impossible to forget. Their voice, their essence, resonates through time like an ancestral call that defies oblivion. Forget Me Not emerges from the desire to give dignity back to these mythological creatures, freeing them from a narrative that has long demonized them and rendered the search for lost love futile. Here, the siren does not seduce to destroy: she welcomes, attracts, reconciles. She is a symbol of humanity and femininity, both elevated and powerful yet gentle. This spirit runs through the entire collection: the idea of a long-awaited encounter between sirens and sailors, between worlds that seem irreconcilable. The sea becomes an emotional landscape even before a geographical one. Mysterious, deep, and contradictory, it unfolds in multiple layers, drawing us into a suspended, dreamlike atmosphere to be experienced with eyes wide open.
Shapes, colors, and proportions are reimagined in a contemporary, layered elegance. Silhouettes allure, envelop, and captivate without ever constraining. The expression of desire is fluid, instinctive, and striking. In this Atlantean world, the color palette builds an emotional terrain: watery cosmos, navy, and periwinkle blend with algae green, eucalyptus, and loden, while earthy tones of custard, tobacco, and dark ginseng create contrast. The mineral coolness of rock leads to a crescendo of kiss-red, a symbol of timeless and infinite passion. Fabrics narrate the sea through contrasts. Fluidity takes shape in glossy satin, dusty crepe de chine, shaded georgette, and flowing creponne, while structure emerges in felted wool, bourette suits, wool coats, and tailored gabardines. Two opposing energies meet in a comforting embrace, balancing lightness and protection. Precious details complete the story: metal applications, placed almost like charms, recall fishing nets and objects recovered from the sea. Jewelry takes the symbolic form of the shell, celebrating the sea foam from which Venus was born. But that is another story. This is Forget Me Not: an invitation to remember, to embrace desire, and to fear no depth.
