ERMANNO SCERVINO PRE-FALL LOOK BOOK

There is a suspended moment, just before stepping out, when a woman allows herself to be seen with natural ease. It is the interval in which the outfit she is about to wear has not yet replaced what rested against her skin only moments earlier: the sheen of pajama trousers, the delicacy of fine lingerie. These traces of her private world, shaped by soft scents and muted light, linger briefly in view, a discreet echo soon enveloped by coats and masculine tailoring. In this swift passage, beauty arises from the encounter between intimacy and the urban sphere. For Winter 2026–27, Ermanno Scervino seeks an elegance born from the instinctive gesture of dressing to face the world.

The collection articulates a considered vocabulary of materials and silhouettes, rooted in a dialogue between menswear tailoring and reinterpreted lingerie. The forms remain precise and essential: straight shearling or herringbone coats, impeccably cut Prince of Wales jackets, structured mini skirts in double cloth or leather, and fluid midi dresses that trace the body without rigidity. Material innovation is central. Jacquard denim reveals a herringbone structure beneath its softened, time-worn surface; suede is paired with wool and subtly shaded along the seams; lambskin, treated with techniques reminiscent of traditional fur craftsmanship, is perforated to achieve a coat as light as a cardigan; shearling appears vintage when waxed or almost weightless when unlined and worn fleece-side out.

This tension between enveloping softness and materials with a lived-in intimacy evokes the world of underpinnings and the private sphere. It translates the ease and assuredness of personal attire into an outerwear wardrobe. Refined workmanship defines the collection’s identity. Embroidery, experimentation, and artisanal interventions give depth and complexity to surfaces. Rebrodé lace, sculpted as much as embroidered, takes on the dimensionality of bas-relief and sometimes blends with fur; silk satin retains its luminosity, yet through a special double construction lends mini skirts the precise bloom of a corolla; knitwear merges seamlessly with lingerie codes.

The bags reprise the season’s key materials: vintage shearling, long-haired suede, and polished crocodile flanks, shaped with clean lines and meticulous craftsmanship. Footwear follows the same direction: mules and pumps feature swallow-tail brogue perforations; boots alternate stretch nappa with lace appliqué and shaded shearling; sneakers combine airy furs with suede printed to resemble denim.
