JENNY FAX SPRING/SUMMER 2025

The setting for the brand’s debut presentation in Paris is a café in the city. Drawing inspiration from a circle of community the show features 7 models, each portraying a character with a unique background. The collection showcases uniform-like styles that represent diverse personalities: a boyish bar manager, a mother on a family vacation, a secretary on her way home from work, a girl returning from school, and a girl who loves Lolita fashion, a subculture style originating from Japan.

Behind this collection is the continuous theme of Shueh Jen-Fang’s efforts to uplift girls and women who may lack confidence in themselves. In recent years, the brand has focused on body positivity, expressed through a silicone corset created using a 3D scan of the designer’s own body. This piece embodies the phrase “just as you are,” a popular sentiment today, and challenges conventional beauty standards by showcasing it on models with various body shapes. Another signature item in the collection is the lingerie-docking dress, a bold and witty creation that appears as if the lingerie has been mistakenly layered over the dress. 

This reflects the designer’s unique approach, encouraging wearers to enjoy their favorite lingerie as part of their outerwear. The nostalgic oversized shoulders are also a hallmark of JennyFax’ s iconic silhouette. In the Lolita-style pieces, Jenny Fax has collaborated with the globally renowned Lolita fashion brand “Angelic Pretty” on clothing, shoes, and bags. Angelic Pretty, which started as a select shop in1979 and launched as a brand in 2001, has become one of the world’ s leading Lolita fashion brands, with a flagship store in Paris as well.
