MAISON SARA CHRAIBI Fall 2023 Haute Couture
We have no doubts that sara chraibi draws inspiration from a well-traveled woman who encounters architectural motifs and geometries reminiscent of her upbringing during her journeys. The result is a refined collection that subtly incorporates these influences, resonating with a diverse audience from Marrakesh to Melbourne and beyond.
Chraibi demonstrated her appreciation for Morocco’s remarkable craftsmanship by infusing her designs with authentic elements. One notable example was her adept use of Sabra, a luxurious silk thread derived from aloe vera plants, often employed in Moroccan passementerie. By incorporating this distinctive material, she bestowed the collection with an exquisite, glossy allure. The Sabra was artfully fashioned into Arabesque capes, drawing inspiration from the country’s traditional designs. Moreover, she elegantly adorned sleek, silky gowns with sheer fabrics, reminiscent of the graceful kaftans.
maisonsarachraibi opted for understated colors to highlight the artistry of her masterful tailoring and intricate embellishments. The garments were adorned with tasteful patterns, featuring diamond-shaped motifs meticulously stitched onto bustiers and rows of braiding elegantly framing open backs. This minimalistic approach accentuated the flawless craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, allowing their brilliance to take center stage.
