VESPA SPRING/SUMMER 2026 PRESENTATION
Since 1946, Vespa has been more than just a vehicle: it is an icon that transcends generations. Today, that same energy is renewed with VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE. A seemingly empty space, built from boundless content contained within the same perimeter. In the beating heart of Milan, Vespa lights up number Via Broletto 13 with the inauguration of VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE, an immersive and visionary concept store that goes beyond the logic of a simple retail point to become a cultural hub, an aesthetic experience, and a social space.
No straight lines, no sharp corners: the space interprets Vespa’s design in architecture, with curved walls of satin steel recalling the metallic body of the iconic vehicle. At the center of the store unfolds the Vespa Café, elegant and welcoming — the physical and symbolic heart of the project. Not just a coffee shop to enjoy an espresso, but a meeting place that evokes the convivial spirit of Vespa as a means of social gathering. The menu is thoughtfully crafted to reflect Vespa’s creativity and carefree philosophy.
VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE is an extension of the Vespa imaginary, moving from the two-wheel industry into a broader universe that speaks of lifestyle, fashion, experiences, and objects. An invitation to imagine Vespa in all its forms. Vespa has never been just a synonym for mobility. As early as the 1960s, Vespa was already being portrayed in campaigns like the one featuring the slogan “If only we had a Vespa.” In that image, a couple appears to be riding on nothing — the vehicle is not visible, yet it’s unmistakably there, recognized through their posture and gestures. It is from that image that this reflection begins — an idea that distills the past in order to imagine Vespa’s ever-evolving universe.
AL VENTO Collection introducing the Pilot Dogs drop
The new Vespa AL VENTO collection blends style and functionality, evoking the unique feeling of freedom you experience when the wind brushes against your skin as you ride a Vespa — and the thrill of an emotion that can be sparked at any moment. Designed for those who live Vespa every day, the collection includes utilitarian and technical garments — such as breathable, weather-resistant raincoats, perfect for facing the rain without sacrificing style. The collection introduces playful and ironic elements, like colorful faux-fur pieces and prints featuring dogs — all wearing helmets — representing the brand’s inclusive and carefree spirit. As a highlight of the AL VENTO collection, Vespa brings to life a visionary community, gathering a pack of Pilot Dogs.
A community built on irony, freedom, and a universal spirit. It’s not just a simple drop, but the poetic opening of the AL VENTO collection — an imaginative journey where even dogs become adventure companions. Each dog is designed as an aesthetic personification of Vespa’s historic models.
