VICTORIA/TOMAS FALL/WINTER 2024

Victoria Feldman and Tomas Berzins presents the new VICTORIA/TOMAS fall/winter 2024 Womenswear collection titled “Le Baiser” – “The Kiss” in French. In late October, Victoria and Tomas were visiting the famous Rodin Museum in Paris. This time the iconic sculpture “Le Baiser” grabbed their attention. At the heart of the collection lie wool jackets and pants, meticulously crafted to exude an understated allure. Structured tabs and knotted details pay homage to the raw emotion immortalized in Rodin’s iconic works, infusing each garment with a sense of poetic beauty.

Adding a tactile dimension to the ensembles are scarves, emerging as essential accessories. Whether cinched over skirts or paired with voluminous coats, their leather fringing lends a touch of luxury, inviting the wearer to indulge in the sensory experience of fine craftsmanship. While the collection diverges from the reversible designs of seasons past, versatility remains a cornerstone. Seamlessly transitioning between different looks, each piece offers endless possibilities for personal expression, echoing the dynamic nature of artistic evolution.

Rodin used a technique that is dear to him: the assembly of two originally independent elements, but who create a new work through their association.

Reinterpreted movements were reflected in the collection as heavy scarfs integrated into jackets, coats and cardigans wrapped around the neck to create cozy yet sensual and Parisian look. Cropped shirts, marinière, mini skirts getting warmer with the body heating up. Leather pieces draw attention as designers wanted to bring back their renowned category, that was first introduced at Festival d’Hyeres 10 years ago.
