Milan’s historic civic aquarium transformed into a living, breathing greenhouse last September 23, hosting Luisa Beccaria’s latest showcase. Entitled “Herbarium,” the presentation felt less like a traditional runway show and more like stepping inside the pages of a hand-pressed botanical manuscript. Against an immersive backdrop of lush foliage and soft, filtered sunlight, the garments seemed to naturally root themselves in their environment.
Botanical Textures in Motion
The collection conceptualized an archive of flora, translating plants far beyond standard prints into tangible, dynamic forms. Romantic silhouettes featured sculptural ruffles resembling opening petals, intricate cutwork, and tactile appliqués.

Even poolside attire embraced the garden narrative, featuring vintage-inspired swimwear paired with matching mini-skirts that carried the botanical theme right to the shoreline.
